Kattrin Deufert holds a PhD in theatre studies and has been working as an artist since 2001 at the intersection of dance, media, and society. Whether as the duo deufert&plischke, within a family, in dialogue with the audience, or in collaboration with an entire village: her artistic practice is rooted in encounters and collective experiences. spinnereischwelm—her studio in rural North Rhine-Westphalia—serves as the starting point for her regional and international long-term projects.
