Boglárka Pap
Mediator Stuttgart region
"The dialogue between artists and the public is like a fine oil in the gears of the creative process: it allows everything to run smoothly while preserving both artistic freedom and individual agency. For a strong and vibrant democracy, we need more of this dialogue and greater trust in the decision-making power of groups. That’s why I see the New Patrons model as a key milestone and an essential future approach to art production and mediation."
Boglárka Pap works as a cultural manager, theatre educator, and director with a passion for participatory formats in artistic projects. She is a founding member of Schmetterlingshaus, a platform for audience-commissioned cultural events, as well as a moderator and concept developer for the citizens’ juries of the Made in Stuttgart and Made in Germany festivals by Forum der Kulturen Stuttgart e.V. In her independent stage and performance productions, she creates research-based projects within democratic structures. Always searching for new forms of participation, she challenges traditional artistic leadership models: Who holds the power to decide? And how can it be shared more fairly? Through these questions, she invites dialogue and inspires everyone to become part of the solution.
